I just noticed the 'Private Messages' link at the top rhs of the forum, the blue text link, returns an error page. Something has made it not work right, which needs looking into.

However the link in the thin black toolbar at the top is still working, so just wanted to point that out, can use that to check them, but it wont notify of new messages like the other link does, the other link still seems to notify and show you have a message, but it wont work right when clicked.
I remember the good old days, when 90+ year olds in nursing homes lived forever. Darn this pesky virus.

Seems to be ok now.

Actually the whole site ended up having glitches (so did SZ) and i changed something on both and it seems to have fixed the issues.

Anyone feel free to let us know here if something isnt working right/has changed.

Yeah thats what i just fixed hopefully, all of that was being caused by one thing creating errors all over the place. Same thing happened to SZ.

It does seem fairly buggy compared to other forums though.

Well things could be lonelier, at least he's not Mike.

It's nice to know that between the passive liberalism and petit bourgeois banalities, SZ members still have a place in their hearts for Mike :D

Well other forums like vbulletin cost money, they are companies who spend a lot to develop their forum software, and can since people have to pay them to use their stuff, plus plenty of other sites have paid staff and professional webmasters who are all over any problems asap.

Kunena and Joomla are open source, Kunena has an open source philosophy (their words) ... volunteer contributors give their spare time to help develop non profit solutions/software for people like us to use for free.

That explains it, it's not a problem, it's nice to have a forum that breaks down from time to time, it's more realistic.
