Hopefully its been sorted properly this time.

But if these issues keep recurring, then we're going to move over to the InnoHosting American server, because it seems not to have the same problems as this UK one keeps getting.

Thanks, DG, Novum, for all your graft.
Actually, I thought it might be my isp and new website filtering legislation... but was not surprised to read that it was the host/server again.

I had a huge problem with a previous isp, the one that now uses two alphabet letters as its name. Their adult content lock blocking practice has been in place a long time, and actually blocks many sites that are not 'adult' in nature -like some medical information sites, for example. To unblock Content Lock, the user needs to submit a credit card number, and a debit card will not suffice. Went round and round with them to get it unblocked once, only to find it blocked again inexplicably. Went into the shop front and used their phone to 'verify' to their customer service people that I was over 18 and that no one else had access to my pc. The store staff was not allowed to verify my age by either looking at my ID or my face, dunno why. But the customer service person over the phone was allowed to 'accept my verbal statement as truth', without seeing either any paperwork or my mug...
One site this isp blocked was a UK site owned by a friend of mine; a medical info site. I asked the isp about this and how the site owner was to get their site off their block list; the isp told me that she would have to contact them directly and request removal from the list. It was complicated and awkward, and even after she did it, her site was subsequently put back on the list without notification or explanation. I have since left them for the company that uses the 'who are we' dongle (not that their service is much better, but their prices are). Now waiting for the penny to drop about the content filtering that is coming into force soon. Hope it will not be complicated to not filter my content choices as in TZ.

Having-trouble-posting posting test.

EDIT Test:
unable to post to Faces that Need Slapping thread. Get a 404 page (with TZ banner).

RE-EDIT Test:

So, I guess I'm not banned, then?

OK... I'm going to try with a quote as I can't get my posts to submit. The page just keeps coming back. Also I've only just been able to log on. What the fucks happening... is it them :O fingers crossed

Edit to say my original post was to say I'd only just been able to log on and have been trying all afternoon. I sent an e mail to you then tried again and got on. Then my post wouldn't post... I must have pressed submit 20 times.

I'm losing multi-millions of posts. One in every six, I reckon. And this might not post either....
