When you click on 'recent' I'm assuming it brings up all the latest, most er recent threads?

This doesn't appear to be happening. (If that's whats meant to happen)

That is whats meant to happen right? :ponda:
What you do speaks so loudly that I cannot hear what you say.

It brings up the threads with the most recent responses... so its more like recent posts than recent threads. The date the OP/thread was made has no bearing on what comes up when you press 'recent' ... its about the most recent posts.

Look in the RHS column once youve pressed recent, thats where it shows the last post on each thread, and they are in chronological order, newest/most recent post at the top.

Suggestion

"Decent" button, cutting out all the posts not worth reading :D
To understand who rules over you look to whom you tube can't criticise

The media isn't there to cover the news
It's there to cover the news up

All establishment lies pass through three stages
First, they are accepted as being self evident
Second, they are exposed by diligent research
Third, they are enforced

@Annakissd,

You can jump directly to the new posts in a thread by clicking on the link in green (X NEW). If you knew that already ignore me.

@Rodin,

Who exactly is qualified to judge what threads of comments are worthy? If stuff doesn't interest you personally don't bother reading or responding to them - it really is that simple.

Yes that's what I meant, recent posts, didn't make that clear I know.
It used to work okay, and its not now, it's like it's stuck on yesterday.

It's clearly not effecting anyone else, so never mind :)

I think i know what might be causing that... press recent, then look near the top rh corner of the forum, under the Private Messages link, make sure page 1 is selected... you might have gone to page 2 and then it stays like that.

There is something strange happening with the most recent posts column. I don't know if it is to do with the recent posts button
I posted something on lol of the day thread and it appeared at the top as new post should, but if I am logged out it doesn't or rather didn't appear at all. I tried to log out and in few times. It doesn't really bother me. It's just that I often look quickly if there are any interesting posts here, and so it appears that I won't see the new posts, if not logged in. Daisy would soon spot that forum is losing traffic. I don't really mind myself.

Perhaps you are on page two of 'recent' results also, when not logged in, see my post above.

No Novum, I wasn't on page 2. I have talked about this before, but as I said it doesn't bother me, more curious than anything. Try it yourself. I noticed today's anomaly when a plugin crashed and I had to reboot.

I always try things when people report issues, already have.

Works fine for me on 3 different browsers, logged in and not logged in... so im not sure what could be causing it on your end.

I don't think it is at my end, because something like it happens at SZ too. But I wouldn't worry about it. It doesn't really matter.

Well I have no clue what the issue is I cleared all the server cache's so there should be nothing our end that's messing it up for you?

The first thing to try would be to clear your browser cache and cookies for this site and then refresh the page. You will be logged out once you clear the data.

Could be something to do with Daria's browser settings or even the internet provider... i know of some providers who cache sites so you dont see the live/latest versions... to save on bandwidth.

The browser settings could be doing the same thing.

Now other than the things i just mentioned, i dont know what else could be causing this. :dunno:

I think it is a Kunena thing. SZ has it too. I haven't notice dalay on other forums.
Also remember when there was the glitch with youtube videos. Couldn't click on them to be watched on youtube. Well the same thing happened at Project Camelot forum at the same time. They had the same stuck videos and they use Kunena.
I vote it to be a Kunena thingy and let's forget about it.

I haven't had this problem myself and I can't think of a reason why it would happen apart from data being cached somewhere.

The YTube video thing is more often than not caused by changes made by g00gle messing about with the way YT works. They mess it up on a regular bases. You would think people would have the sense to move to a different service by now. G00gle to forcing G+ down peoples throats and the censorship should be reason enough to wake people up. :roll:
