Thread title about says it all.

If this site is down, we can go here truth-zone.boards.net/ to regroup and figure out whats going on.

If this site is down again, i can post and inform at the other place.

Please dont spam the other forum. Its just for when this place is down, anything else will be deleted.

Or just try remember that the URL is almost the same as here, except it has the extra word boards in it.

Hopefully that will pass, the domain name change has to propagate thru the www... the site might be a bit intermittent now because of the change.

Yahoo is powered by Bing.

I havent been in the Bing webmaster tools account for a long time .. i only sorted out google... but i expect bing and yahoo to sort the new site address out on their own, and it should come up high again soon. But i may go in if i get some time and sort things out.

Yes I have that in second place too, what I meant was truthzone.net is at the top on my google search results but on Yahoo it's still 'co.uk' so does not lead to truth zone.

I see not truth-zone.net anywhere on Yahoo that leads to this website.

I suspect novnov's last post was about correct, though I was just reporting the situation here.

Yeah i havent done anything to give yahoo a nudge like i did with google.

Which needs to be done in bing webmaster tools, which we do have an account with and this site is in there. And that does both yahoo and bing results.

BTW, after i questioned why the uk domain was suspended, and showed it was paid for last month etc etc... well low and behold it was just unsuspended for some reason... which is very very strange... and NO explanation either or response to my questions... just got an email that it was registered again.

What this means is we can now access the uk domain and put redirects in, which we have done.

So in laymans terms, the old UK links will work now and redirect to the .net version.

But the site is staying .net now after all that BS... and i still dont know why it all happened.

Like i said, very strange for them to re-instate the uk domain with no explanation. The whois search clearly showed it was suspended, and now it isnt.

Just letting people know the score, and that the old links will work again, which is a good thing.. it means the search engines will sort themselves faster.

Also many hits if I search for this with your user name added on the end "truth zone novum"

A (unique linked Sign) work much better though than the user-names; one trick I learned to find your own postings & images quickly in one go on Google search!

Could also be the reason why the index jumped from around "5000" one day to "11300" pages indexed the next day??

Right so....

When I type into the Yahoo! search engine Truth-zone (and I need the hyphen to get the dot.net version) then truthzone.co.uk is top of the list, it redirects to truth-zone.net as you say but the website is white and pasty like this....

truth-zone.net is forth on the Yahoo! results.

I also get two other websites - A Christian website @truthzone.co.uk and what appears to be a meditation website @truthzone.net

I tried to log into Bing before with the site account we had but it doesnt log in anymore and i wasnt in the mood to make a new Bing/hotmail thing all over again at the time. Idk why their shit 'forgot' the account and said it doesnt exist... the login details were correct.. that never happens with google.

Bing and yahoo should sort themselves out soon enough though regarding the site, especially now with the redirects in place.

@Mario, I was now able to go thru the proper procedure with google for changing from .uk to .net... something i couldnt do when the uk domain was suspended. So now google knows that .net is the same site as the old index (for .uk ) ... so id expect the indexed pages to jump suddenly.
