As the topic title says, Yes to having it or NO to not have it.

It can be disabled and it wont show on the forum.

I voted no, as it serves absolutely no purpose.

I imagine the "love in" forums love it though, where everything is love and light.

For a forum that causes heated debate, it is an un needed distraction.
It was always going to happen!!

I voted No. It just allows idiotic posters like CINTA to login and reduce Karma of posters who challenge her or call her out for being a hasbara troll like i do. :hahano:

I've lost count of the times she's logged in and my Karma reduces immediately.

Well put.

I concur.

It is divisive and the heated debates you refer to are where the reps rise and fall rapidly on a daily basis.

I usually try to ignore polls where the member starting the poll does not vote first :)
but in this case I voted NO, because (see my previous statements on "karma" topics),
although the feature gave me interesting insights into the mindset of the control freaks who abuse it.

only by individuals, but by the masses. In periodicals

feeling that it has a decided majority on its side."

A definite no here. It's simply become a tool of abuse. It's serves no other purpose because some people simply can't be trusted to use it properly. The thank you feature is plenty enough.

Whatever is decided is fine with me.

Yeah, no surprises there, given that you're almost certainly one of the one's who likes to abuse it. The very fact you voted in favour of something that's clearly being abused to the detriment of the forum says it all about you. Novum will do the right thing and get rid of it I'm sure. Which leaves one less thing for you and your ilk to abuse.

If I put a negative mark against somebody once a week it would be a miracle, you got one today for moaning about it :D the same as if I thank a poster its a rare rare thing. But you keep blubbing into your horlicks about your Karma, Mr I want to be popular :twitch:

If Novum gets rid of it, still wont stop your mates using the "underhand tactics" and sending PMs about you :larf: Seems your more worried about going into a - karma then anybody on the forum :D

Does anybody else think it's gross that even this thread
is about being turned (upside-down) to become a shill playground?
