Regarding Bitchute, i did some code tweak and we can now embed bitchute vids.

I hope to see peeps start embedding those and using it instead of youtube.

However its not as simple as pasting in the link... its going to need BBcode tags around the link like this, with type=youtube in the leading video tag... example ....

I think bitchute uses a funky way of delivering the data, its peer to peer or something, not sure how that works exaclty. Embed liveleak vids like this using the embed URL they give ... Im still trying to figure out how to use GAB tv btw, which has a video upload area.... I can see how to upload vids but not how to watch other peoples vids

Ive been trying to get GAB videos to embed, they use javascripts to run the vids.... i can get it to work on the forum but when you hit reply on any page where the GAB vid is embedded, the BB code in the reply box doesnt load because its javascript clashes. The post preview also doesnt work for the same reason.

Im not enough (or any) of a programming geek to figure out how to fix it, but here is an example of a GAB vid... first the link to gab where it is hosted... an Alex Jones video... uploaded to the Alex Jones GAB account...

GAB doesnt offer an embed URL like bitchute and liveleak which in laymans is why its causing the reply box BBcode not loading issue and post preview issue.... so i might give implementing GAB embeds here a miss for now but will keep an eye out incase they offer an embed feature in the future.

Right now because of the embedded gab vid in this post... your post previews and BB code icons wont work right on this thread... should be ok everywhere else, its only where the gab vid displays that its an issue, and i wont be putting any more up, i'll leave this one for a little while as a demo then pull it like larry.

Ive also tried uploading vids to gab but i havent seen it work yet, the page said upload was successful but they arent up yet. I'll report back on that. Because if it works its another place to host vids, and at least we can paste the links in here even if they wont embed.
