As you know very well I mainly used tinypic for uploading pictures and saving them from being deleted form the original websites
and I often use pictures to explain what I want to express for various reasons.


Now hundreds or thousands of pictures are no longer visible and not only have the comments that included them become worthless,
but whole threads have become totally senseless.


All of the work during the last four years to save and upload those pictures is wasted?

The URLs can be made back into http rather than https with a click of a button so dont worry, i will revert it back.

I initially made a site wide override to change all instances of http to https, but concede too many images from past posts wont work, rendering all those posts incoherent at best and nonsense at worst.

Anyway i will get rid of that override now and things should be as they were.

Any page on the forum that contains all https content will still be deemed secure by browsers so perhaps we could try use https links and images from now on, but i certainly wont burden people with that as a requirement, its more of a goodwill request since browsers have now started increasing their 'warnings' about non https pages.

Sorry for the inconvenience but please dont worry, that content has not been changed, the database exists just as it was and just as people make their posts, its overrides that we use to do these code changes on the forum face, as i said, one click and its undone.

So as i said above, i just turned the site wide http to https override off now and everything that didnt work as a https version will work now.

What this means in laymans is now your browsers wont show TZ pages as secure if the forum page has any http links or images in it. Pages that happen to not contain any http but rather all https links and images will still show as secure on the browsers indicators.

Just going to have to compromise and have mixed content... still better to have https activated on the site than off regardless, and it is on now, i just removed the override that re-wrote ALL links to https as its not right for existing stuff (external links and images) that doesnt offer https on their end.
