From the above link.
Zuckerberg, the 29-year-old co-founder of Facebook Inc., is not only the youngest billionaire, he’s the biggest gainer, Bloomberg Markets will report in its December Billionaires Issue. Zuckerberg doubled his fortune to $24.5 billion from Jan. 1 to Sept. 30

He doubled his fortune in just nine months....bloody hell.

Vote with your internet feet folks....virtually walk away from Facebook.

This is why they make bugatti veyrons.

How does facebook make money anyway? Do the intelligence agencies and corporations give them a cut for gathering data? :hahano:
I remember the good old days, when 90+ year olds in nursing homes lived forever. Darn this pesky virus.

I think there is much more to/behind the evolution and development of facebook than just da boss yep... lets just say support from other parties with common interests. (like govt and corporations)

I guess those numbers are net worth, so the worth of facebook is taken into account.

Having said that, can it really make so much from advertising that it is worth so much?

The answer might be, it is worth alot to the right people. Its like an international agency database... where people voluntarily fill in all the details. :hahano:

they more than give them a cut, FB (and Joogle for that matter) package up all the data and actively sell it - to the NSA, GCHQ etc, as well as any large corporation willing to pay to understand the consumer market
