In 2 hours we will be able to experience one of the most beautiful phenomena we can observe.

Gaia will block the light falling on her sister Selene, providing a reddish spectacle in the night sky.

After 3.5 years I will be able to see this spectacular sight. Last time I had the many lights of the best city in Europe surrounding me, now in the middle of the Andes without light pollution around.

Magnificent, one of the true wonders of Nature.

Couldnt see it from here.

It was a 'supermoon' though.... but no eclipse.

I basked in the light it for a while after sunset, after seeing the moon come up when the sun was still up... which also looked cool. Was a big moon.

It was bright enough to go about your business outside after dark and have vision enough to see what you were doing.

No light pollution where I am either.
