If the right has the BNP on its extreme flank, the left has Trotskyist groups. The leader of the Workers’ Revolutionary Party, Gerry Healey, was denounced as “a blatant anti-semite” by his comrades. In the 1980s, many on the hard left in Britain used language which the now dead Jewish Labour MP, Reg Freeson, considered anti-semitic.

There is no difference between the far right and the far left....they are the same thing...extremism.

I've said this before and I'll keep saying it.

The left and right is one big puppet show. A great big lie.

For example, everyone has been led to believe the Nazis were uber right wing, nothing could be further from the truth. They were a National Socialist Government, the state was god and they had massive social policies in place, all "Left Wing" policies by their definitions. But the Socialists today need to distance themselves from that, and will need to distance themselves from Communism to, as more and more people wake up to the fact the Socialism was one of the main, if not the main, cause of death in the last 150 years.

Policies so good they make them mandatory...hmm... don't you love our loving governments.

You say that diamond...but the folk " inbetween " are the most extreme of all....the 85 per centers...who just " go with the flow "...I'm more wary of THEM than the other two factors.

Though I would assert that our current regime is (scarily IMO) politically extremist - wedded as it is to neo-liberal extremism. I kinda agree and do use the term 'extremism' myself, but on the other hand what constitutes extremism does kinda depend on the political perspective you're operating from.

This kinda depends on what sort of 'right wing'. The Nazis were fervent nationalists and though they espoused some socialist notions, there was scant socialism in practice. Socialism is traditionally about equality and social justice, something neither Hitler nor Stalin actually practiced.
The right, like the left, has authoritarian and individualistic strands. Just like Stalinism and Nazism come full circle, so does extreme individualism - for example Brendan O'Neill; calls himself a Marxist, but on welfare sounds like Iain Duncan Smith.

I believe in balancing society & the individual as far as possible which is why I'm a libertarian communist

It's kinda curious how you get all these conspiracy theories about Common Purpose and wotnot, but none whatsoever concerning the way the old RCP/Living Marxism crew manuovered themselves into influential positions.

To me that suggests your out of balance, as you are a communist, a lefty. Unless you believe that is balance so then I can't tell you any different as this is your belief.

Dude, considering you call yourself 'anarchist4eva', you don't seem to know much about anarchism.
