Red Action the group that would have had Orange and Zorro cowering in the doorways as they hunted right wing activists.

Red Action were a bunch of reds with a large Scottish and Irish membership within their ranks. Pro IRA, well organised and funded by the IRA and other socialist networks. "The Angel" at Islington used to be a favourite haunt of a certain London branch, well it was until they took a beating in that location.

The opposition to the reds was the extreme right in England mainly ex British Movement chaps, National Front and the emerging football casuals. Forays into enemy territory were often Organised by CFC Headhunters and band members from the OI music movement, which went on to become Blood and Honour with Skrewdriver leading the way.

You would not find any of these chaps at a Jewish wedding or cowering in doorways :wissl:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Action

Red Action was a small British leftist political group formed in 1981. It became known for violently confronting fascist opponents on the streets, and for being the main organisational force behind Anti-Fascist Action.[1][2] In 1995, The Independent estimated that it had between 20 and 30 branches with 10-15 activists in each, and the paper stated that the group "enthusiastically espouses the use of violence"; it also set out links between Red Action and the Irish republican movement, and stated that members operate primarily in large cities such as London, Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow.[3]....Cont

Interesting subject to explore.

I think it bears remembering that it wasn't the blacks or the pakis who started fights with the whites back in the early days, and if it wasn't for gangs of bully boys terrorising the non-natives, there'd have been no need for an anti-facist organisation to combat such activities.

Red Action, BM, BNP, NF, SWP, Anti Nazi League..
The leadership of the lot of 'em.
Socks for the security services.
Total puppets with most of the membership none the wiser unless it came out.
Which it did now and again.
Still the same.
Join any far left or far right organisation in Britain and you might just as well send your CV, online passwords and bank statements direct to MI5 and Special Branch down at Sentinel House in Milbank: London (home of 'Anonymous').

Whether the security forces had infiltrated them, or not, it's not like they were running the show. They were just tag-alongs, taking in information and reporting back to their seniors, except in the rarest of cases.

If you have evidence indicating otherwise, I'll quite happily have a look at it.

You should be able to find links for them then, and save me having to read an entire book. Just extract one part of the book that says an infiltrator actually became a top leader.

ps. Not that the book doesn't look a very interesting read. If i was still using public libraries, I'd put an order in for that. As it is, if I don't see it in a charity shop or on a market bookstall, it's not getting read.

Look at what the fascists were doing back before they had no darkies to attack. Setting about the Labour Party in the north east.

I wonder who might have been behind that?

Really GMP :wissl:

If people were not involved they dont know how it worked, and the organisation behind it. Security services were very interested of course, but for example if you were not vouched for you could not get in. By that I mean unless somebody knew you , your background. and events you had been on together, then you were not on the gig.
Bit like a forum I know :D :larf: :cool2:
