Having recently quit (or fired from) the post of UN Ambassador, Nikki Haley now sits on the Boeing board of directors.

A major project for Boeing (and Northrup Grumman) at this time is the full replacement of the American land-based
ICBM backbone - the Minuteman II. There are at least 450 Minuteman II nuclear silos armed at all times.

Current Secretary of Defense Pat Shanahan was a Boeing executive for 31 years and has faced criticism for potentially favoring Boeing in contracts: insidedefense.com/daily-news/pentagon-fires-back-allegations-shanahan-favoring-boeing%C2%

The Pentagon in recent months is also scrambling to develop a new hypersonic defense system that is capable of intercepting or shutting down Russian hypersonic missiles. For the first time officially, new "non-kinetic" applications may be introduced. utilizing "high-powered lasers and adopting new "non-kinetic" capabilities"

Groud-Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) is expected to enter fully operational service in 2027, with projections for application to 2075. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ground_Based_Strategic_Deterrent

I would have to spend more time trying to discover if the Air Force has been given the go-ahead on its 2013 proposal to bore deep underground tunnels connecting the new ICBM missiles. That proposal for an underground subway system, trackless tunnel transport for the entire class of weapons: www.wired.com/2013/03/nuclear-subway/
