Hi, I was just wondering what sort of internet security people use, if any? I don't mean in terms of antirus/spyware, but more ways to be anonymous online, like VPNs etc. Is it necessary and if so are there any that people can recommend? Or is there a better solution? Thank you

The free Microsoft Defender that came with W10 works fine for me. I do recommend installing SpyBot Anti-Beacon (or any alternative) to stop Microsoft spying on you
You can't fix stupid

The 'easy' way is get Brave browser and use TOR.

It has an optional browser window option that uses TOR, so your ISP (or employer if at work) apparently cant see what youve been browsing.

And sites on the other end cant see your real IP.

I find myself using the TOR option more and more recently, as internet censorship continues.. as it is right now, TOR also gets around the issue of ISPs in certain countries blocking certain sites.
I remember the good old days, when 90+ year olds in nursing homes lived forever. Darn this pesky virus.
