Now this to me all seems rather odd - :ponda:

Who is Jo Cox? Profile of Labour rising star praised for her commitment to international causes

Jo Cox, in a critical condition after being shot at a constituency surgery, quickly made her mark as one of the brightest stars of the new intake of MPs elected in last year's general election

Anyone who has met Jo Cox will tell you two things: she’s one of the kindest MPs and a passionate campaigner.

Married with two children, the Labour MP was elected to Parliament in 2015.

Seen as one of the stars of the new intake, she quickly made her mark through her commitment to international development.

The 41-year-old was at the forefront of the campaign to persuade the Government to accept more child refugees from Syria.

Born in her Batley and Spen constituency, she was educated at Heckmondwike Grammar School and Cambridge University.

Before entering parliament she was head of policy at Oxfam, where she met her husband Brendan, and then worked for the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation.

She was also and adviser on international development to Sarah Brown and Glenys Kinnock.

"Led the assembly at the wonderful Batley Parish School, we focused on good citizenship, democracy and aspiration
She has also advised the NSPCC and Save the Children on their UK activities.

She has carried her interests into Westminster, where she co chairs an all party parliamentary group on Syria. Last autumn she argued military action could be beneficial in Syria, but abstained in the vote as she did not believe a comprehensive strategy was in place.

A leading campaigner for Remain, she helped to launch Britain in Europe.

Ms Cox was one of the MPs to nominate Jeremy Corbyn for the leadership but she went on to vote for Liz Kendall.

She also called on the Labour leader to up his game as she gave her verdict after the recent local elections.

Her popularity was shown by the rush of tributes by MPs from all parties after news emerged she had been shot and stabbed at a constituency surgery.

Shadow Foreign Secretary Hilary Benn said: “All our thoughts and prayers are with Jo Cox and her family.”

Lib Dem leader Tim Farron said: “Utterly, utterly horrific to see reports about Jo Cox. My thoughts and prayers are with her, her family & staff.”

Tory MP Stewart Jackson said: “I do hope that MP Jo Cox is ok after incident in her constituency. Shocking news.”

Labour MP Chuka Umunna said: “Utterly awful news about an attack on a superb and wonderful colleague Jo Cox - hoping and praying for her and her family right now”.

Shadow Education Secretary Lucy Powell said: “Dreadful, dreadful news coming in about my good friend Jo Cox. I really hope all ok. Awful.”

Ms Cox, who lives on a converted barge moored near Tower Bridge, was raised in Hedmondwicke, West Yorkshire, by her school secretary mum Jean and dad Gordon, who worked in a toothpaste and hairspray factory in Leeds.

She spent her university summer holidays working in the factory with her dad, packing toothpaste - in contrast to many of her fellow students who "had gone on a gap year".

Twitter Jo Cox's husband tweeted a picture of her on the Thames riverpath

She was the first in her family to go to university, graduating in 1995. But she has admitted her time at Cambridge studying for a BA in Social and Political Studies "knocked" her for about five years.

She told the Yorkshire Evening Post last year: "It kind of came at Cambridge where it was just a realisation that where you were born mattered. That how you spoke mattered... who you knew mattered.

"I didn’t really speak right or knew the right people."

Ms Cox, a keen mountain biker, lives on a converted barge moored on the Thames near Tower Bridge with her husband and children Lejla and Cuillin.

She won a 6,057 majority last year as she stood to replace veteran Labour MP Mike Wood, who had held the seat since 1997.

MPs hold surgeries with a member of their staff present, to take notes/minutes. Yet reports are saying she was on her own...

I don't know about "false flag" but it is unusual, very unusual, for an MP to hold a surgery on their own.

Sad state of affairs. I wonder how long it will be before someone comes along saying the usual "if she'd only been armed with a gun this wouldn't have happened" nonsense?

ps. As to her being on her own, did you expect that she'd have had some kind of security detail? Perhaps she had an assistant but they was out doing legwork?

Brexit referendum campaigns suspended after Jo Cox MP murder

EU referendum campaigning has been suspended out of respect for a Labour MP who has died after a brutal shooting and stabbing attack in her West Yorkshire constituency.
Britain Stronger In Europe and Vote Leave halted their campaigns on Thursday afternoon after news of the attack broke.
Both campaigns have been suspended until further notice out of respect for Jo Cox, who was carrying out official duties at the time of the assault.

How much more obvious can these bastards get?
www.breitbart.com/london/2016/06/16/eu-commissioner-claims-jo-cox-mp-murdered-supporting-migrants-eu/
Anyone who watched tonight's BBC news coverage of this foul crime can be in NO doubt.
Jo Cox MP ( RIP) murder has been spun to favour the remain campaign.
Cameron might have well as pulled the feckin' trigger and Osborne wielded the knife.
Honour Jo's memory by voting LEAVE on June 23rd.

Its plausible GMP, makes sense that her murder might tug at the heart strings and get people to support her cause.

Seems to me that a very powerful faction of these globalist types dislike strong sovereign nations looking after and governing their own affairs.
I remember the good old days, when 90+ year olds in nursing homes lived forever. Darn this pesky virus.

Brexit: Vote Remain Exploits Jo Cox Murder | Paul Joseph Watson and Stefan Molyneux
Stefan Molyneux
Seems like the Cultural Marxists who want IN have lost one of their own..................
I'd read somewhere else she'd gotten in the middle of a fight unrelated to her ..........

She was a STAY IN campaigner ........

and somewhat a left wing NWO puppet......

First sentence , top of BBC News tonight.
"Labour MP Jo Cox has been murdered by a man who shouted 'Britain First' as he shot and stabbed her".
It went downhill from there.
Not a mention of Leave or Remain but every fecker in the Remain camp was shown bigging the poor lass up.
One single shot of Farage doing his amiable bigot schtick plus a second or two of Boris laughing whilst holding up a live lobster.
Cut to make them both look like insensitive dicks.
Cameron was given time and looked feckin' delighted whilst delivering a smarmy eulogy.
It was all the lad could do not to start laughing out loud.
You could see his the corners of his mouth twitching.
Twat.

How disgusting that none of you have the fucking decency even for a moment to consider the utter horror of this for this woman and her family.

And offer any condolence.

Some SICK FUCK attacked this poor woman, firstly by knocking her on the ground, then kicked her around the place,... then took out a gun, and shot her THREE times, once in the head......and then took a knife out and in public....... mutilated her body.............

God only knows what her husband, children and parents are going through now.

She seemed a decdent caring woman..........the prayers of most decent people are with her now.

Most DECENT people who have FEELINGS would have the decency to acknowledge the utter horror of what happened today.

A young mother has been killed and MULTILATED in public ( this sick fuck stabbed her three-timed shot body repeatedly in a spasm of utter hate)....... it MAKES no difference what side you are on..............surely you have some decency to acknowledge the horror of what has happened.

We are all HUMAN BEINGS, at the end of the day...........can't you even imagine the horror for the people involved.

And btw, stop using GMP name from the DI forum. You ain't him. He is a decent person. You seem some sick heartless fucking idiot. .

it is being reported even by the Daily Mail and the Daily telegraphy newspapers, both of whom are the most pro-leave newspapers in the uk.

In fact, it is to their credit, that they are reporting what eye witnesses have said..............even if it is bad for their side.

Seems there are still some good decent journalists around.

Although what the people who own the newspapers will do tomorrow .............I think we all know.

Watch articles and headlines disappearing...........

Shut up. If you can't handle the heat and discuss this rationally, go sit somewhere else.

The worst thing of this all is that (((they))) are using this to manipulate the referendum of the entire UK which could seal the fate of millions upon millions British people as there will be a lot of people who wil vote for "Stay" as they all feel sorry and whiny for the lady who died.

How pathetic that all of you people are so divorced from reality that, EVEN FOR A FUCKING MOMENT.... you can't FEEL nothing for a mother and her family who has been killed and MULTILATED in public.

No, all you are fucking concerned about is how it might affect your bloody referendum.

There are MUCH larger things at stake then the death of one woman you, I and nobody else didn't know besides the ones close to her.

You are TOTALLY overreacting and getting all caught up by the emotions which the media project on you, in the hope you will vote for "Stay" out of respect for the lady.

This is a case of disgusting foul play, right before the referendum and is WAAAY too convenient for the EU. The media also directly blamed it on the "Britain First" party, but as an eyewitness said, the attacker didn't scream anything of the likes.

This is the whole problem with our society nowadays.... weak-minded who can't think straight once an event comes along.
