This time it's Frinton-on-sea, Essex UK, on the East Coast (South) about 100 miles from the OP one.

inews.co.uk/news/frinton-on-sea-police-rush-to-essex-beach-as-people-mysteriously-struggle-to-breathe/
Police in Essex rushed to a popular beach on Sunday after people were mysteriously left “struggling to breathe”.
Once again a Bank Holiday Sunday, middle of the day, with good weather.
A mother on a family day out at the busy beach, where temperatures reached a high of about 28C, described how one of her twin daughters was left “gasping” for breath.
Once again no real explanation and illegal flushing of tanks assumed.
He said officials later began patrolling the beach and starting to tape off some areas, before “a procession of emergency vehicles, including ambulances, fire appliances, police cars and other unmarked vehicles with blue flashing lights started heading towards the scene”.
Last Edit: 26 Aug 2019 21:02 by monk.link. Reason: flushing tanks?

Among the comments on local media of a previous similar event, there was talk about the local incinerator - see #20.

Surprise, surprise there's been a stink about the one in Essex (biggest in Europe?)

Strange that the owner should be connected to the BBC?

The op was two years before the most recent post but for one day.

Not sure what that means, it's just an observation about the timing.

Late Summer Bank Holiday = last Monday in August. An annual day off for the office workers.

I'm not sure, but I think this might be the closest touristy beach to London.

This is very typical of News reports that seem to have a common Press Release source.
www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7393117/Panic-beachgoers-choke-struggle-breathe-Essex.html

It quotes only 2 witnesses:-
- a Mental Health Worker (Mother with twin daughters)
- a Training Manager (Husband "Wray")
He said a few hours later two men from a beach patrol started going backwards and forwards in a dinghy along a short section of the beach, about 50 feet from the shore, urging people to move back, but that there was no clear instruction to get out of the water.
He added: 'Then others, with radios, began patrolling the beach and starting to tape some areas off. It was all very low-key and there didn't seem to be much urgency to it.
Note, no fuel-like odour reported. Suited-and-booted?

What's the point of inflicting people with a mild chemical attack?

Chimney smoke plumes have a habit of touching the ground many miles away if they're trapped under an air layer "ceiling" (the 'Fumigation' effect)-

From what I can gather Frinton is most famous for having very little going on.

Auntie made a documentary called The Curious World of Frinton-on-sea, which was the butt of many (Little Britain style) jokes.

It's also featured in Eastenders as a place Londoners disappear off to get some space. One of it's (influential) stars referred to neighbouring Clacton as "Bedsit Land" in a faux-investigative show on Sky 1.

There's also an early August bank holiday (1st Monday of month). Mysteriously there was another incident at the beginning of August in which 12 beach huts caught fire.

The most suspicious thing in this whole case is the BBC saying:

Essex beach illness: Chance 'we will never know' cause

www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-essex-49496330

Because to say such a thing means you have some kind of definite information and the only way you could make a statement like this would be if you knew what was causing it but also knew definitively that this information will NEVER be released to the public.

For me it's probably a case of chemical weapons testing, either by our own government or the French.

Either way, it's been officially classified 'Top Secret' and we will....'never know the cause'.

Worthing, also a spot where next to nothing ever happens, about 50 miles in the other direction from Eastbourne, also had reports of some kind of evacuation incident.

www.worthingherald.co.uk/news/worthing-seafront-evacuation-eyewitnesses-reveal-confusion-as-masked-officers-confront-hazardous-material-1-9029936
Worthing's Pavilion café was also evacuated at around the same time. Matt Nolan, who works at the Pavilion and helped to evacuate customers, said officers with masks were all along the seafront. He said: "We didn't know what was going on, it was just confusion.

"We were told to take everyone over to the other side of the road but no-one told us what was happening really so we were just like 'oh, okay'.

"It was more of an inconvenience to us than anything."

I've been on the lookout for other incidents that are disruptive to normal leisure / touristy type activity.

Noticed this one today. Supposedly an artwork at the Centre Pompidou (famous French art gallery and major tourist attraction) has been damaged in a knife (box cutter?) attack. The artist aka "the stripes guy" is famous for minimalist striped modern art. In this case he'd come up with "Peinture" (painting?) as the innovative name of the painstaking creation (that's not at all dumbed-down or machine-like).

news.yahoo.com/knife-attack-badly-damages-top-french-modern-artist-141610484.html

I couldn't help wondering whether stripes or particular arrangements of stripes could bring on some kind of MK reaction?

...aaaand just when you thought 9/11 was dead (the silence after 18 years is suss; they are preparing a next big thing, when I obviously don't know), it returns in mind fucking """art""".

And immediately the psyop chain programming (pcp) scripted with a fake attack. They are so predictable.

Great find monk as always, thanks.

So just weeks before UK poised to crash out the EU...
...Parliament suspended to prevent any last minute "deal"...
...having only just got back from their Summer Break (the lazy gits)...
...the most famous/established Travel Company, Thomas Cook (inventor of the Package Holiday) goes bust! :wissl:

Supposedly it's triggered the biggest ever peacetime repatriation - mostly pensioners since school holidays over.
