The deal is a police marksman or marksmen shot him through the windscreen of his car that's not usually acceptable in the UK, the police have other ways of stopping cars and capturing potentially armed people.

This behaviour seems more like what the SAS would do, ie shoot first and ask questions later, but that's when they themselves are in a life threatening situation, not when they're just stopping someone to detain/disarm them.

Of course I'm nowhere near an expert in knowing about this kind of stuff, but that's my understanding.

It could be tptb stoking up the race war etc...or some other reason that they had to shoot him, need to wait for more info.

Ah, i figured it might be that if i had to guess.

Maybe some crooked high up fucker wanted to take over his operations :hahano:

Im sure an 'official' explanation will be put forward given the questions the public will be asking. Whether it will be the truth or not though, who the fk knows.

Judging by the bullet hole group on the windscreen it seems like it was a marksman, and it is said to be the police, as in they are not denying it was them that shot him.

I'm unsure if the car was stationary at the time of the shooting, and where the marksmen would have been, EG on a bypass road bridge etc...it seems like the bullet holes could be the result of a marksman shooting from above.

Here;s the BBC report on it.
A man who died in a police shooting during an operation on a motorway slip road has been named as Yassar Yaqub.
West Yorkshire Police said a force firearm was discharged just off the M62 in Huddersfield on Monday evening.
Police are believed to have searched Mr Yaqub's home in Rudding Street, Huddersfield. Officers with guns could be seen at the front and back.
A force spokesman said five people have been arrested as part of the operation, including three in the M62 incident.

Judging by this photograph it seems like the car could have been moving at the time of the shooting, as other cars have nearly collided with it, so in such case that would be something more like a murder than police reacting to a immediate danger to the general public or themselves, it does not seem like they attempted to capture him, rather assassinate him.

The marksman could have been on the high bank area on the right of the photograph.

Yes the narrative is that he was a drug dealer amongst other criminal issues that comes with the territory.

Seems like it.. people are going to want answers.

Perhaps they will say he was an immediate danger to others (which seems like BS if they do say that)

Seems he was on the run from the cops? well they caught him! :hahano:

So the new doctrine for UK police action is, if you have a firearm in your car, and you're a known criminal, they assassinate you, that seems like what happened in this case.

I don't think he was on the run per se, they just did an operation, part of which was on him.

From the BBC article posted previously.
A force spokesman said five people have been arrested as part of the operation, including three in the M62 incident.

Including this guy- take a guess at how many people were shot and killed by police between January 2016 and today here in ALL of the UK.

Not exactly an epidemic is it?
According to neighbours in his street this dude was a well known drug dealer with previous for shooting and being shot at.
If that's true then he is no feckin' loss IMO.

For a change, the article on the Daily Fail looks solid.

Keys:
- "we wait for the police investigation"
- many unnamed commenters interviewed
- photos look ok and many amateur ones plucked from Twatter
- no photos of """criminal""" drug dealer (drug dealing of """illegal""" drugs may be unlawful, that doesn't make it criminal) body (that should be police, not press photos)

What was the clue the DIFfers called it a "hoax"?

No clue at all - the DIF false flag brigade need no evidence.
They just imagine shit and then believe that to be their evidence.

On topic this is all the BBC local news has on that Bradford protest last night...
"On Tuesday evening, protesters carrying banners reading "stop the killings" brought traffic to a halt in Bradford."
It's raining this evening so unlikely to be a repetition.
Why 'killings' plural?

Sounds to me like they are appealing for the police to stop killing people who aren't actively trying to kill them. Carrying a firearm in a vehicle doesn't make it an immediately deadly threat.

Carrying out this "pre-planned" operation without body cams makes it look like they were intentionally trying to create uncertainty and controversy. Nice start to 2017, plod!

Well, this is not a mourning his loss thread, but were the police acting lawfully themselves or have they assassinated (murdered) someone? Thread.

According to the latest news reports, the father of the man that has been killed has promised to prosecute the marksman who shot his son using his own money, if need be. This is going to get very interesting.

I don't see any justification within British law for the police to shoot/kill someone unless they are about to or threaten to shoot/seriously harm others, I can't imagine that being the case if Yaqub was driving his car along a slip road from the M62.

There are no reports afaik as to why he was shot. Surely the police marksman was waiting for him.
