havent had time to watch the video (but shall ty for the link) so can only comment as regards my opinion not on the content of the vid.

I think that 'new age' like anything else is about what you expect to get out of it and how much belief you have in it. So is not a 'con' per sé - if someone feels better in themselves for meditating - using crystal - simple living - holistic health etc - then I see no harm in it.

I am not sure I believe in some of the claims made such as astral projection or channeling - but they may have more to do with not experiencing it myself.

Some new age political ideolgy resonates with me such as:

  • Significant social change requires deep changes in consciousness; institutional change is not enough
  • Our world does not reflect who we at our best can be
  • Desirable values include nonviolence, diversity, a sense of community, and a sense of enoughness.
  • Human growth and development, not economic growth, should be the overarching goal
  • Ownership and control of institutions is important. But the size of institutions is at least as important. We must move away from big governments, big corporations, and other large institutions to the extent it enhances our lives

others not so much

New Age is the "religion" of the New World Order. It's proponents believe world peace will only come with one global government.

The New Age or the Aquarian Age & World Government

It is generally believed that the Aquarian Age started in the year 2000, 2160 years roughly being the Age of a Sign. The Piscean age started at around 200 BCE ( Before Common Era ). Let us study the symbolisms of the Piscean and the Aquarian Ages.

As the Earth's precession is 72 degrees per degree, 2160 years is an Age Cycle. 25920 years ( 12*2160) is a Precessional Cycle or a Great Plato Year or an Aeon.

Pisces means Fishes and Jesus was the Redeemer of the Piscean Age. The Piscean Age emphasised Faith. The two fishes of Pisces indicate Dualism and during this time, the conflict between Religion & Science intensified as Science rose against blind Faith. The belief in an external God was rejected by Science.

Aquarius is ruled by two planets in Astrology - Uranus & Saturn. Uranus represents Independence and Saturn Universal Humanism. Humanism postulates that no dogma or political doctrine can save you; only you can save yourself. If you save yourself, you save society, you save the nation and the Planet Earth ! In other words, Universal Humanism will be the hallmark of the Aquarian Age.

The astrologic scholar Jeff Jawer remarks that the Aquarian Age has not arrived in his article " On The Cusp between Pisces and Aquarius. " The first Venus Transit occurred in 2004 & the next one wlll be in 2012. These 8 years will be like the Dark Night of the Soul, a chaotic period of purgatorial suffering as the Planet Earth goes through a dark phase. Dr Jose Arguelles, the scholar who brought the concept of Harmonic Convergence, also thinks that the enlightening Age of Aquarius will dawn on 2012.

The famous song on Aquarian Age states thus
When the moon is in the Seventh House
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars!

This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius
The age of Aquarius
Aquarius!
Aquarius!

All freethinkers are excited about the New Aquarian Age where Wisdom will blossom and importance will be on Self development, Self Transformation, Self Realisation & Self Actualisation. Gone are the days of dogma & Blind Faith. Personal transformation will result in Planetary Transformation !

Dante, Bernard Shaw & Alice Bailey had highlighted in their writings that a World Government is the only solution to achieve permanent World Peace. Mahesh Yogi inaugurated the World Government in 1975 in Seelisberg, Switzerland ( " In response to the call of time, a global organisation has been structured, the non-political, the non-religious World Government which has the knowledge and expertise to create an ideal society" ). Foster Bailey, the husband of Alice Bailey, said that " Free Masonry is the descendent of a United World Religion, a divinely imparted Religion. Then came separativeness and religions. Now we are striving for a United World Order" There is also a move to create a World Stock Market & to control all governments in the world. The foundations behind the United Nations are spiritual. The Global Oneness Movement is gaining momentum and a Council of Global Governance has been constituted with Maurice Strong as the President.

Dr Wilhmhurst saw the dawning of the Aquarian Age as the fulfillment of the Plan and said that Free Masonry may be the vehicle for that fulfillment. Wise people point out that the New Age Movement is the Universal Religion which H G Wells predicted would one day take over mankind.

The hand of the Mysteries controlled the establishment of the United States Government and the signature of the Mysteries may still be seen on the Great Seal of the United States of America. The Seal discloses a mass of Masonic symbols, chiefly amongst them the American Eagle, which is a conventionalized phoenix. The U S Supreme Court Justice Felix Frankfurter said " The real rulers in Washington are invisible and exercise power from behind the scenes ".

The Third Testament

The New Age has been referred to as the Third Testament. While the Old & the New Testaments emphasised that Truth is Freedom ( Veritas vos Liberabit ), New Age Philosophy averrs that Knowledge alone is Freedom. Self Knowledge or Knowledge of the Absolute Self alone can make you free !

Global Oneness alone can save the world. Globalists alone can bring a planetary transformation and not those who champion the cause of a Nation or a Civilisation. Some prominent globalists are Jeremy Rifkin, Norman Cousins, Elizabeth Clare Prophet, John Denver, George Lucas, Norman Lear, Alice Bailey, Alvin Toffler, Dr. Barbara Ray, Benjamin Creme, Levi Dowling, George Trevelyan, Fritjof Capra, Abraham Maslow, Barbara Marx Hubbard, Ruth Montgomery, Shirley MacLaine, J.Z. Knight, Marilyn Ferguson, David Spangler, Nelson Mandela & Gorbachev.

Marilyn Ferguson in her book ' The Aquarian Conspiracy' remarks that the New Age Revolution is a Movement which is characterised by ' no political doctrines, no manifesto'. It is a Movement 'more universal than reform' and 'more profound than a revolution ! ' The main chararacteristic of the New Aquarian Age will be Spiritual Democray. Global integration has been achieved via the Net, which implements the Global Village Concept. The Wonder - the World Wide Web - is the true World Encyclopaedia !

Always the teachings of the White Lodge ( the Philosophers ) were opposed by the Black Lodge ( Theology ), who maintain that Man and God are different. Giadarno Bruno, one of the greatest philosophers, had to give his life as a price for his mystical experiences. He was burnt as a heretic. Rising to this challenge, Isaac Bonewits formulated the Aquarian Manifesto, which gives the freedom and the liberty to worship the God of one's choice. This Aquarian Manifesto protects psychics & mystics.

Global unification is a key goal, but is probably best accomplished by networking at many levels rather than establishing a centralized world state.[117]

from wiki en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Age#cite_note-Kyle-117 which is quoting from Kyle, Richard G. (Autumn 1995). "The Political Ideas of the New Age Movement". The foremost conclusion of everything that I've read and watched so far is that those who desire complete control always use the tool of division to achieve that goal. I believe they're using these methods to create a splitting-off from who we are, fundamentally. using persuasion to lead us off into one type of belief or another, so to speak. The belief systems being presented to us seem, to me, to be extreme. Would we all be content to just be who we are? Close to nature, enjoying one another's company, etc? Why are we being led down this path where, now, it seems to be perfectly acceptable to dabble in The Occult?

What would be the contingency plan, though, if people turn away from these practices? You see, no matter which way you look at it, THEY are always going to invent some new path to lead people down.

LUCIS TRUST - the "spiritual" tentacle of the UNWO - is the origin of NEW AGE.

And it's no coincidence that scam rhymes with satan.

I will watch the video and elaborate on my claim asap.

My OP was meant to provoke thought as to what the agenda might be with regard to the "New Age". It wasn't implying that I wanted to debunk EVERYTHING spiritual/psychic.

Demonic "possession" is real. I've had first-hand experience of it. My mother's family practised Satanic Ritual abuse. I was very psychic as a child and I could "see" these entities clairvoyantly.

I've also seen a UFO. It hung, silently, in the air over a local bleak spot near where I live. It was massive! At least the size of 3 football pitch's! Then after about 30-45 seconds (which seemed like ages to me) it moved! From where it was to miles and miles away, it moved in a split second! I've never seen anything move so fast in my life! It was NOT saucer-shaped. I've looked for photo's of this thing on the net and never been able to find anything.

I didn't watch the entire video, but from what I seen of it, there is a lot of disinfo being spread around, as well as vague generalizations as well as a covert attempt to stop the viewer from digging or seeking what is true for him or her.

Such ideas as reincarnation and personal immorality are as old as Man and have no business being in the melting pot of, "New Age" mentality.

Note the symbolism and the colours.

Lucis Trust is the "spiritual" branch of the United Nations.

Their slogan is no coincidence of course:

"Energies Available to Build a New World Order"

The Three Major Spiritual Festivals

There are three major spiritual Festivals which form the high point in the annual cycle. These are the Festival of Easter (at the Aries full moon), the Festival of Wesak (at the Taurus full moon), and the Festival of Goodwill (at the Gemini full moon). Through the steady, persistent meditation work of many individuals and groups in all parts of the world these Festivals are now achieving a subjective anchorage in the consciousness of mankind. They represent a basic divine purpose, which will begin to establish its objectives as the various religious institutions simultaneously acknowledge and observe, each in its own way, the unique annual approach of man to God and of God to man. This simultaneous recognition is basic to the structure of the new world religion.
The Twelve Festivals

We should also take into consideration the purpose and effect of each full moon period throughout the year. The nine lesser Festivals build the "divine attributes" into human consciousness, while the three major Festivals establish the "divine aspects." The aspects are well known in terms of their basic energy qualities reflecting the underlying trinity of the God-head; will or purpose, love/wisdom, and light or intelligent activity. The divine attributes are based on: harmony through conflict, concrete science, idealism and devotion, and order and organisation. These qualities are just as divine in their potential perfection as the three major aspects; all twelve Festival opportunities can be used to stimulate the evolutionary spiritual growth of all kingdoms in nature.

These twelve Festivals at the time of the full moon each month are used increasingly as a means of service through meditation. Meditation opens a channel in consciousness through which energies are invoked, received and consciously directed. Energy qualified by the nature and influence of each full moon period, flows towards us on the tide of life from our solar centre, the Sun. We work in group meditation at the full moon Festivals, therefore, because when the moon is "full" to our vision, the path of energy communication is wide open, clear and unimpeded.

The Three Festivals

In the future all men of spiritual inclination will keep the same holy days. This will bring about a pooling of spiritual resources and a united spiritual effort, plus a simultaneous invocation. The potency of this will be apparent. The three major Festivals each year are concentrated in three consecutive months and lead to a prolonged annual spiritual effort which affects the remainder of the year. These are:

(1) The Festival of Easter . This is the Festival of the risen living Christ, the teacher of all men and the head of the spiritual Hierarchy. He is the expression of the love of God. On this day the spiritual Hierarchy, which he guides and directs, is recognised and the nature of God's love is emphasised. This Festival is determined always by the date of the full moon of Spring and is the great Western and Christian Festival.

(2) The Festival of Wesak . This is the Festival of the Buddha, the spiritual intermediary between the highest spiritual centre, Shamballa, and the Hierarchy. The Buddha is the expression of the wisdom of God, the embodiment of light and the indicator of divine purpose. This Festival is fixed annually in relation to the full moon of May; it is the great Eastern Festival.

(3) The Festival of Goodwill . This is the Festival of the spirit of humanity aspiring towards God, seeking conformity with the will of God and dedicated to the expression of right human relations. The Festival is fixed annually in relation to the full moon of June. It is a day whereon the spiritual and divine nature of mankind is recognised. On this Festival for two thousand years the Christ has represented humanity and has stood before the Hierarchy and in the sight of Shamballa as the God-man, the leader of his people and "the eldest in a great family of brothers" (Romans VIII:29). Each year at this time he has preached the last sermon of the Buddha before the assembled Hierarchy. This is, therefore, a Festival of deep invocation and appeal, of a basic aspiration towards fellowship, of human and spiritual unity; it represents the effect in human consciousness of the work of the Buddha and of the Christ. This Festival is also observed as World Invocation Day.

These three Festivals are a part of the unified spiritual approach of humanity, although they are not yet sufficiently related to each other. The time is coming when all three Festivals will be kept throughout the world and by their means a great spiritual unity will be achieved and the effects of the Great Approach, so close to us at this time, will be stabilised by the united invocation of humanity throughout the planet.

Energies Available to Build a New World Order

The Forces of Restoration are particularly active at the time of the Easter Festival. These Forces emanate from the mind of God; they are connected with the intelligence principle in the divine nature, stimulating the human intellect. This type of energy is peculiarly creative in nature and carries the "life which produces the birth of forms," It is a mass energy, related to the stimulation of the mass intelligence. It makes men think, plan and take action. It produces neither good nor bad results but simply brings about the awakening of men's minds so that they take intelligent action. The action itself is necessarily dependent upon the type of mind of those who respond to the forces of restoration and will be conditioned by the point in evolution, the racial and national background, tradition, religious and civilised reactions. These forces are now active in every land, frequently producing increased initial difficulties but leading eventually to a definite reorganisation of the national life. The effects are primarily physical. Their objective is the production of the new Earth and all the outer evidences of an inflowing new life.

The Forces of Enlightenment are active at the time of the Wesak Festival. These Forces emanate from the heart of God; they are related to divine understanding and can reach and strengthen those who love and serve their fellowmen. This energy transmits the second principle of divinity, love-wisdom, of which the Buddha and the Christ are the two outstanding expressions. The forces of enlightenment initiate the new world education. The first to be affected by them are the great educational movements, the forums of the people in all lands and the values which can unfold through mass communications media. The press, publishers of world literature, speakers, writers, radio commentators, newspaper men and social workers are all affected by these forces which stream into the minds of men. Their effects are not yet apparent to any degree, but these movements and people are the recipients today of the energies of enlightenment; as they recognise the new emerging ideas they can channel and direct energy to influence the masses of men everywhere.

The Forces of Reconstruction are active at the Festival of Goodwill, which is the Festival of the Christ and of Humanity. These Forces are related to the will aspect of divinity and remain, as yet, the least powerful of the three streams of energy released during the three Festivals in 1945. The forces of reconstruction are mainly effective in relation to nations. The use made of these impersonal energies depends upon the quality and the nature of the recipient nation, on its measure of true enlightenment and on its point in evolution. Nations are the expression today of the massed self-centredness of a people and of their instinct to self-preservation. These energies can therefore, increase this aspect of the national life or they can increase the potency of the objectives of world unity, peace and progress which the United Nations hold before the eyes of men as a true vision of the Plan. These constructive, synthesising energies should have the effect of transforming the theory of unity into practical experience so that the word "united" may come to hold a true significance and meaning for all nations. Today a will-to-synthesis is slowly generating within the General Assembly of the United Nations under the inspiration of the forces of reconstruction and the Avatar of Synthesis, aided by the Christ.

The new world to which the Forces of Restoration, Enlightenment and Reconstruction contribute, will express the light, the love and the knowledge of God in a crescendo of revelation, producing seven great results:

1. Power will be given to the disciples of the world and the Initiates among men so that they can direct efficiently and wisely the process of rebuilding.

2. The will-to-love will stimulate men of goodwill everywhere, gradually overcoming hatred. The inner urge in men to live together co-operatively already exists and is subject to stimulation.

3. The will-to-action will lead intelligent people throughout the world to inaugurate those activities which will lay the foundation for a new, better and happier world.

4. The will-to-cooperate will steadily increase. Men will desire and demand right human relations as a natural way of life.

5. The will-to-know and to think correctly and creatively will become an outstanding characteristic of the masses. Knowledge is the first step towards wisdom.

6. The will-to-persist will become a human characteristic, a sublimation of the basic instinct of self-preservation. This will lead to a persistent belief in the ideals presented by the Hierarchy and the demonstration of immortality.

7. The will-to-organise will further a building process which will be carried forward under the direct inspiration of the Hierarchy. The medium will be the potency of the will-to-good of the new group of world servers and the responsive goodwill of mankind.

THE GREAT INVOCATION

From the point of Light within the Mind of God
Let light stream forth into the minds of men.
Let Light descend on Earth.

From the point of Love within the Heart of God
Let love stream forth into the hearts of men.
May Christ return to Earth.

From the centre where the Will of God is known
Let purpose guide the little wills of men-
The purpose which the Masters know and serve.

From the centre which we call the race of men
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.

Excellent post.
The New Age Movement is not a Tavistock creation. It is neo-paganism and the spiritual side of the New World Order coin.
It is the 20th and now 21st century equivalent of the Spiritualism/Spiritism, occult revival of the late 19th century.

Wrong.
If you do the research on it,you will find exactly what it is all about. If one desires to engage and espouse it,that is their business. But exposing it for what it is cerrtainly is not disinformation.
