Yep - Total BS from beginning to end.
The beginning was David Icke pondering on the 'reptilian brain' which rather went over the head of his typical reader.
The end being David Icke having realised that his punters wanted tales about 'real' lizard people - he ran with that - and his book sales improved.

G'day GMP.

Icke 'stole' the idea from his 'New Age' pals, Barbara Marciniak (Bringers of the Dawn), Barbara Hand-Clow (Plaedian Agenda) and others propagandising for T.H.E.Y.

If he isn't the biggest plaegeriser in history, he's not far off.

"Wizard's First Rule: people are stupid." Richard and Kahlan frowned even more. "People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People's heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true. People are stupid; they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool."
"Because of Wizards First Rule, the old wizards created Confessors, and Seekers, as a means of helping find the truth, when the truth is important enough. Darken Rahl knows the Wizard's Rules. He is using the first one. People need an enemy to feel a sense of purpose. It's easy to lead people when they have a sense of purpose. Sense of purpose is more important by far than the truth. In fact, truth has no bearing in this. Darken Rahl is providing them with an enemy, other than himself, a sense of purpose. People are stupid; they want to believe, so they do."
— Chapter 36, p.560,
Wizard's First Rule
Book 1, Sword of Truth series
Terry Goodkind

Well Reppie's haven't harmed Icke's book sales and that's a fact.
Somebody over on DIF is hawking anti-reppie 'Tesla Plasma Balls' at the moment.
There's a nice living to be made from reppies.
My 'anti-antichrist amulet' also advertised on DIF has sold not one.

G'day GMP.

I recall back in the day (circa 2007) there were DI f members suggesting that someone throw menstrual blood on the royals in a public place so that they would be exposed changing form. :D

If anything, Icke's reptilian angle has garnered more punters for him than anything else he has 'exposed'. Of course, such followers aren't the sharpest tools in the shed and don't mind handing over there hard earned money to DI on a regular basis so that he doesn't have to get a job himself.

Reppies is a form of religion for some.
On the sale of one-to-crazy it sits mid way between Methodism and Mormonism IMO.

G'day GMP.

I was thinking more along the lines of Scientology, though Mormonism is bat-shit crazy as well.

Scientology comes across like Wittgenstein compared to Icke's 'Moon Control' theory.
The moon is a big hollow spaceship wherein beings control us all by magical mind-waves.
Now that IS bat shit crazy.

It's about as believable as your bat shit crazy story of you being offered 50:1 for a Trump victory by Corals at the end of September in the US Presidential Grand National 2 horse race...... :larf:

I think you're Bull$hitting.....Big Bookies like Corals are not stupid when it comes to odds.
Maybe 5:1 but not 50:1........ :noway:

Already spent my winnings mate. £255 sovs.
No biggie that you don't follow the odds.
It was down to about 5-1 in early October I put my bet on for Trump same time as I backed Brexit back in May.
Had a fiver on Bernie Sanders as well - BIG mistake!

Trump is now around 9/4 in most bookmakers to win the election. His odds have been slashed from around 4/1 in the last week due to the FBI reopening the email investigation on Clinton. It looks to me like Trump could be ((their)) man, and Clinton is being thrown under the bus at the 11th hour? Clinton is finished if even more dirt comes out in these emails, and no doubt it will, otherwise it's unlikely the FBI would have reopened the case this close to the election..

Add to that the fact elections are mainly decided on the performance of the party holding the White House, i.e you're voting the party out because people get sick of the rhetoric with no action, the fact even a fair few libtartds won't be able to bring themselves to vote for Clinton, and I predict a Trump win come election day.
9-4 is still worth a punt to double your money and a bit on top.
:)
Got 50-1 on him at the end of September so looking at £250 winnings coming my way next week.
I've been calling this result for a while now.
Trump 52%
Clinton 48%

....my bold

Cough....

.....you said you placed your bet at the end of September........No way was Trump 50:1 at the end of September!....You've now changed the date of your "supposed" bet to May........ :yerright:
