Poor bear :( I hope it was alright. It's not unusual to be able to get up and run off after an impact like that, only to collapse in a heap a few moments later. I just hope the bear survived.

Yes, poor bear. Just because he got up and walked away, doesn't mean no internal injuries.

Bears are cool, very intelligent.

No bears in Australia, only at the zoo.
I remember the good old days, when 90+ year olds in nursing homes lived forever. Darn this pesky virus.

No bears left in the UK either (although some parts of Europe still have them in the wild....eg Russia).

I'm all for re-introducing them.

I'm not saying this in a joking manor because i feel sadness when any creature of the earth gets hurt.

But, it almost looked like the bear did some breakdancing before running off....

It could work the other way round too.....shift some penguins from antarctica to the north pole....they'd do just fine too.

A small deer came running at my mustang head on once and kind of bounced off the car and ran off. I have no idea if it survived but the front of my car was never the same.
