But here the BBC is saying
Researchers believe that California blue whales have recovered in numbers and the population has returned to sustainable levels.
Scientists say this is the only population of blue whales to have rebounded from the ravages of whaling.
The research team estimate that there are now 2,200 of these giant creatures on the eastern side of the Pacific Ocean.

I said something similar a couple weeks back... PFIZ posted something from an alternative/truther media site, about pelicans, seals (iirc) and other sea creatures dying en masse in the pacific.

Yet in Australia the numbers of these animals are increasing, especially since more protections have been put in place. Perhaps PFIZ can remember which thread it was, i forget now.

So one angle im thinking of is the free fish friday agenda. :ponda:

Imho they want everyday to be like friday eventually.
I remember the good old days, when 90+ year olds in nursing homes lived forever. Darn this pesky virus.

but it's not the southern hemisphere that has the Fukishema pollution - I think it's very real and would believe rense ( and many other sources I've read) over the bbc anyday. . yes - i don;t doubt they sea animals are doing better better there for just those 2 reasons - noncontaminated and preservation activity ;) I've seen computer graphics that show radiation seeping into S. hem seas in future yrs - but still way way safer than N.for at least another couple decades
(I'll see if I can find it. )

Thats fair enough.. though the pacific is the same ocean as eastern australia.. and japan to oz versus japan to usa west coast is comparative distance.. actually the pacific at the north of oz (queensland) is around 1000k's closer to japan than what california for example is, where some of the issues about the sea creatures were reported.

And Japan to queenslands pacific ocean is about the same distance as japan to pacific north west USA.

Perhaps ocean current directions / flow comes into it.

most of it goes North and circles around at the equator.
I think the N. Pacific sea is getting hammered bad. Halibut .cod , tuna worst contaminated - i still eat Oregon shrimp .....kelp is contaminated - this sea will be dead in 10 yrs max and farmed fish is putrid.

yes orangeaid - it;'s already partially trashed - it'll be dead within a few yrs - just tons of jellyfish already - I wonder if they survive. it's already happening - it'll all be radiated in due time. Tepco / Jap Gov keeping lid on thyroid cancer rates and how they''re recruiting workers' - using mafia to find workers' and I heard using inmates. The radiation is spewing out by sea and in the atmosphere...
