A member of the first group of journalists to visit the British Antarctic Survey's isolated Halley Research Station for almost 20 years, Matthew Teller was captivated by the landscape, the team spirit, and surprisingly even the architecture.

I remember the good old days, when 90+ year olds in nursing homes lived forever. Darn this pesky virus.

I like the pods too, but was thinking if i had one, it might end up as a puddle of molten plastic with 4 legs poking out of it all. :larf:

But you never know, perhaps being made to withstand -50 C means they can also hack +50 C :hahano: and therefore work in the second least populated continent on earth, not just the first one. :larf:
