I've always got time to still listen to a bit of Alan Watt, much of what he says is quite true I think. The only issue I have with him is listening to him too much leaves you feeling a bit downbeat, like nothing will ever change. He's still made some classic pod-casts though, especially some of his earlier stuff.

I'v been listening to a lot of Alan Watt myself again recently, and yes I see where you are coming from Zorro in terms of feeling downbeat. I do think there is value in the feeling as perhaps he is trying to present us with some facts that explain why things are the way they are and that if each individual find's their way round the facts then they can at the very least be aware of the manipulation that has gone on for thousands of years, there may be some who will manage one day to challenge or change the status quo. Blind optimism may be the only way to keep ur pecker up?

Correct. The reality is grim, and it is not up to others to think for us,.
Some folks like blowhards like AJ that prattle on about kicking the elite's ass.
Or Icke who pretends all is illusion and we can vibrate the evildoers out of control.
Yetr the gridloick on minds and freedoms march on each passing year.
The information shared on the world wide web can empower people and create pockets of resistance as the vice tightens in all nations or it can shock them into a zombified state of depression and hopelessness.
Or it can lead to petty fights on forums. :hahano:
