2001: Son follows Duchess of Kent into Catholicism www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1337975/Son-follows-Duchess-of-Kent-into-Catholicism.html
"Lord Nicholas's brother, George, the Earl of St Andrews, also gave up his distant claim to the throne when he married a Catholic, Silvana Tomaselli, a Canadian academic.
So did his uncle, Prince Michael of Kent, when he married Baroness Marie-Christine von Reibnitz (Princess Michael) in 1978. Lord Nicholas, 31, who is single, confirmed his conversion to a Sunday newspaper."
then later, 11/28/2008:
"But the move will infuriate officials and senior royals, who blocked plans for a group called The Royal Household Lodge when it was first proposed earlier this year.
So the defiant masons simply changed the name to Mulberry Lodge — a reference to King James I who grew silkworms in a royal palace mulberry garden in the 17th-century.
A royal source revealed: “They won’t be meeting on royal property because all masons have to meet in a masonic hall. But the lodge will be open to male members of the royal household — not just Buckingham Palace, but every royal residence from Balmoral to Windsor and the Tower of London.” redice.tv/news/masons-in-the-palace
Consider all this a moment. You have the Grand Master of the United Grand Lodge of England, Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, married to a Catholic, his son Nicholas Lord Nicholas Windsor is a Catholic, he is brother to Prince Michael of Kent, Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons, and Provincial Grand Master of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Middlesex, they are both married to Catholic women. One, a convert of conscience.
Although they have employed the Royal prerogative concerning Masonry, Prince Charles, not a Mason, did not, and Andrew didn't either, although he was always a clown with problems, right? So, you've got Elizabeth II, she's not a fan of Masonry. Charles, son of Philip, a baptized Greek Orthodox, later in years becoming more interested in that, and Charles goes to Mount Athos for vacations, and the deceased father of both Edward and Michael, who was George, died in WWII and was Grand Master - his wife, their mother, Princess Marina, she was Greek Orthodox.
Consider the royal prerogative to lead Masonry in the UK. I am not aware of the actual documents in history that outline this, in text, but the head of Masonry in the UK is supposed to me a member of the Royal House. Often, as high ranking as possible, as can seen here: www.masonic-lodge.info/MLI/mli109g.htm
Why did Charles, William, Harry, not go this way? They are not Masons at all. Should we take that as a rejection? A rejection that could have links to Elizabeth II and her views? Why are the brothers of Kent, who head Masonry in the UK, married to Catholics? Is there a relation between the Anglican Ordinariate, founded in 2009 and the striking of Succession Law in 2013?
Does an environment exist within the House of Windsor that resists and/or infiltrates Masonry to keep tabs on it?
"After lunch with President Giorgio Napolitano in the Quirinale palace, the Queen crossed the Tiber for a private audience with the Pope, who gave her a blue orb decorated with a silver cross for her eight-month-old great grandson.
“It’s for the little boy,” the Pope said in his native Spanish, as he pointed to the orb - a traditional emblem of the power of Christian monarchs.
For centuries, royal dynasties have used orbs to represent their dominion, while the cross on top of it symbolises their Christian faith - a fitting gift for a child who will one day be King and Defender of the Faith.
It sat on a silver base on which was inscribed, in English, the words: “Pope Francis to His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge”.
“That’s very nice, he will be thrilled,” said the Queen, who wore a lilac coat over a lilac and green chiffon dress and a matching lilac hat.
Then, perhaps realising that a heavy sphere topped by a cross with four sharp points was not entirely suitable for a baby, she added: “When he’s a little older.
I've always distrusted Freemasonry. Beneath the facade of patronage for favoured charitable causes lower degree Freemasons are the most aggressive and territorial humans one could possibly meet. Typically they are self-made men or self-made thugs as I prefer to call them, who are pillars of the community. They will use their secretive connections in local communities to interfere with the lives of anyone whom they take an irrational dislike toward or who has offended them.
Freemasonry has a teleological purpose for humanity and anyone not a part of the 'great work of ages' is worthless and expendable. Freemasonry runs the UK.
