When the NASA boffins spot an anomaly, why don't they simply order the Rover to rove over there to take a close-up picture?

It takes between 3 and 22 minutes for the pictures to arrive and they come in bursts.

What anomalies are you referring to?

This is the "cup" enlarged and with the lighter Sun exposed edge cut out and placed to the right. Now, standalone, does that look like a handle? Nope. It is a trick of the light on angles on a rock. Can you see a handle on the shadow? Nope.

Mars Pipe Flange Update, there is another one in the same frame.

NASA Link.

The bottom pieces look like part of a pump, intense scrutiny of the background reveals both sets of artifacts are part of a far more complex industrial tableau.

All the odd bits and pieces illustrated in this thread. Are you telling us NASA don't have the brains to send the rover over for a closeup pic of each one?

Check your monitor settings to make sure its displaying all the posts in this thread showing allegedly odd things on Mars that the rest of us are seeing.
Let me ask again- why don't the NASA operators simply order the rover to rove over to take close-up pics of the things?

You see what your brain converts it to....It's pareidolia
Let me ask again- why don't the NASA operators simply order the rover to rove over to take close-up pics of the things?

Let me respond with the same damn answer as before.....

It takes between 3 and 22 minutes for the pictures to arrive and they come in bursts.

IT TAKES A MINIMUM of 6 minutes to send a return signal. Then add on converting the data to readable image and getting it up on screen, then checking for anomalies, how long exactly do you think that takes between transmissions?

What anomalies are you referring to? People with logic, look at the picture without the need to colour in the missing bits with bullshit.

Why did you ignore the post looking at the "coffee cup"? See the shadow? No handle. End of chat.

Where did I state in my post (that you quoted) that there was an "issue" with Nixons phone call? Quite the opposite.
You just made more shit up in your flailing haste to score 'intrawebz' :hmm: Excuse, twist, evade and avoid all you like.
Twat, :wissl:
and you have now shat all over another thread. Well done, shill.

There are HB allegations that the phone call from Nixon had incorrect delays on the video. YOU said "But Nixon can enjoy a no delay phone call .

Clearly the EVA shows the expected delay from the short trip to the Moon. It is NOT delay free.
You just made more shit up

No, I corrected your bullshit claim and you ran away again.
in your flailing haste to score 'intrawebz' :hmm:

I have no haste and my post accurately refuted your inaccurate observation.
Excuse, twist, evade and avoid all you like.

There is nothing to evade, you were wrong and you aligned yourself with a moronic HB claim.
Twat

Hey shithead, was there delay in the video I posted? You said it was delay free

However....if your post WAS innocently comparing the 240,000 distance Moon with 1.3 seconds light transfer time to Mars distance of anything from 35 million to 230 million miles - with light speed over 3 minutes up to 22 minutes plus to get here!! Well then you really are totally clueless!

If your comment was just flippant and meaningless....you are a troll!!
and you have now shat all over another thread

No I did not you stalking troll. It was when you got involved with your idiotic picture! .
Well done,shill.
Oh shaaaaadup you troll. Shill :yerright:

Where do I apply!?

No silly. YOU said the call was delay free. No it was not.

Go on you ...make make me look small...what WAS your point?

1. You aligned yourself with the HB claim and got proven wrong.

2. You didn't align yourself but were still wrong.

3. You made a smart arse comment - Mars - 3 to 20 minute delay. Moon - 1.3 seconds ....no comparison whatsoever.

Carry on shitting, the floors yours.

Says the King of Shite, screwing this forum up with his twisted insanity. Are you running away now?

So what?
Any truthseeking scientist would say- "Hey there are some curious shapes on Mars like that one 10 yards to the northeast, let's order the Rover to trundle 9 yards northeast to eyeball it".
They could then throttle up the Rover for a few seconds, then cut the throttle and grab a coffee until the images come in 22 minutes later, it's not rocket science..:)
