I think it's pretty much agreeable, in America at least, that people are becoming more accustomed to seeing terrible events happen, so much so that people no more openly joke about them and see them as a normal part of every day lives.

Furthermore, the constant occurrence of these horrible events(shootings, bombings, etc.) often raises tensions between different groups(victim & aggressor) to a point where all the people of a certain group be it racial, ethnic, national, etc. are categorized as all having the same views and therefore all being guilty of said event, or at least a threat to the future of the society they inhabit because said horrible event already occurred, examples of this are current racial tensions(at least in America), migrant crisis, and many of the topics we see being argued on the internet which categorize all individuals of a certain "group" as having a set of views or all being guilty of the same crime.

I believe this way of thinking poses a real danger to society, as has been seen in the past, if a society begins to categorize and put blame on individuals based on their belonging to a certain group, it often leads to horrible repression of that group and in the worst cases, genocide(Holocaust, Rwanda, Colonisation). I wonder if in these cases, the individuals of the society that were the victims, could see signs before the genocide happened of what was about to come, what do you guys think?

People have always been and will always be judged by the group they belong to.

If any group is dangerous, anybody who belongs to it must be dangerous too.
For example the Koran says- "Fight those of the infidels who are near to you and let them find in you hardness" (9:123)
