My previous avatars over the years have often featured pictures of the late great Frank Zappa....not just a musical genius... ;)

I fancied a change for TZ however....new times, new avvy and all that.

This latest one - ' woman with cello' - is an image that is beautiful, meaningful, stylish, and erotic for me....all at the same time!

Im one of the TZ default avatars right now, i picked it cause it was perty.

I subsequently learned that...

Palm Tree = pheonix = Ra/Horus. :chuckle:
From ancient Greek times the phoenix has been associated with the bennu (benu) bird of Egyptian mythology. It is said that this identification is supported by the fact that in Greek the word Phoenix can mean ‘palm tree’, and so does benu have the alternative meaning of ‘palm tree’ in Egyptian.

Originally, the phoenix was identified by the Egyptians as a stork or heron-like bird called a benu, known from the Book of the Dead and other Egyptian texts as one of the sacred symbols of worship at Heliopolis, closely associated with the rising sun and the Egyptian sun-god Ra.
I remember the good old days, when 90+ year olds in nursing homes lived forever. Darn this pesky virus.

Well I like the film Scarface...I also like Serpico. I think Serpico was my first Pacino avvy, ever since then I've been using Pacino in my avvys a lot :chuckle: He's one of my favourite actors.

I'll probably start changing things up and I'll use different avvys...I'm getting a bit tired of the Pacino ones.

Love Pacino & DeNiro. 'Heat' is one of the best films ever.

ok i changed mine to a different Palm Tree now, one that has a sun.

I wanted it to be a proper Horus/Ra...so it had to have a sun. :hahano:

I love the horse, and when you watch them run it's like a finely tuned engine that's alive.

It aint a mustang though, but close, its an australian built thing...kind of like a 4-door mustang, with a mustang engine and mustang type chassis.

It actually uses less than my 2.4 nissan on the highway :D

Big engine doesnt always mean more fuel use particularly on the highway. 8 litres per 100 km or 30mpg in this case for the 5.0 Ford...its not so bad. If you have a 6 speed manual or 4 speed auto with lock up torque converter the bigger engines do ok on the highway because they are barely ticking over and can still have enough power / torque to move the car, compared to little engines that need to rev more.

My avatar picture is inspired by this movie

truth-zone.net/forum/cinema-film-youtube/68077-upside-down.html

for more than one reason.

:)
"The truth must be repeated over and over again,
because error is repeatedly preached among us, not
only by individuals, but by the masses. In periodicals
and cyclopaedias, in schools and universities; every-
where, in fact, error prevails, and is quite easy in the
feeling that it has a decided majority on its side."
