Rate the above persons music
I have seen this work as a party game on a few forums
Post a piece of music not more than ten minutes long
The next person has to listen and rate it this could be simple 1 out of 10 or write a little bit about it before they can post their bit of music. And on it goes.
Ready steady go

I loved Hawkwind in the days of Lemmy and Stacia Blake (who I remember apologising to the audience for not taking her cloths off because she had cold) so that one is a bit after my time, but such a Hawkwind style.
The next band is one of the few from that era I did not see live, but would have loved to have seen this explosion of funk and Sci fi.

Great voice /sound..... 8 out of 10 for me.. I would have liked to have seen them live as well.

Can we say a little about our choice of music?

I danced at one of Chairman of The Board shows and spent a whole night talking to General Johnson.... A lovely, decent man who treated me with the utmost respect. He wanted to see me again, but it never happened. I love his singing voice and will never forget him.

I love that sound, such a good one to sip my southern shandy in a wine bar to, you should try it DG.
It is nice to hear about nice people in the music business, although a lot pretend to be it is so cut throat, the scum so often rise to the top.
Now this as far as I know is the nicest man in music, I have never heard a bad word about him, and everybody that I know who met him said he was just so nice, and his mum was a bit of a legend in the east end as well-
From the start of British rock and Roll

This type of music makes me think of my parents. My mum doing the twist. :)

I can imagine myself running through a field, rain pouring down, screaming to the sound of, Led Zeppelin- Immigrant song.

Yes, it's a lovely song. I can imagine walking through an enchanted garden, listening to it.

As a teenager I had an almost pathological hatred of Zeppelin, Purple, and Budgie which I am only getting over now, but I still think I was right about Budgie. Whole lotta of love is so iconic of its time it is difficult for me to think of that time without that as the sound track and vice versa.
Pheony whatever way you want to express your feelings about the music is the right way.

I loved this, and then hated everything he did after this-

I don't really like any of Bruce Springsteen's music.

Andy Williams is really not my cup of tea, but I think this song puts his effortless, pitch perfect voice to the test. (towards the end of the song) I get a surge through my body, willing him to hit the top notes...I love it. :D

Has to be played at full volume. ;)

This song speaks for itself. A truly talented musician. And he topped himself ffs, depression.

I did not get that music at all, until when I was working as a gardener for an old man and he played Mat Monro, and the other crooners so loud his house shook, until then I had only heard the music of my parents generation played quietly, (in case it upset the neighbours), yes they could an half sing. I know what your saying about that track, but the smoother the song I think the better andy gets
This is my Favourite piece of smooth music

Point taken. :P

I like the song you posted above.....very mellow. Unfortunately I can't understand Spanish however (although I do a little Portuguese...just a little).

Anyway, whilst we're in the smooth jazzy vein....

I only listen to loud music with headphones on. Nothing worse than having to listen to music you don't like.

Love: The Girl from Ipanema. It makes me think of this....
