I like classics. I want absolutely no electronics or gps in my cars. I read Vault 7, I know what happened to Michael Hastings, and all the False Flag Terror Attacks involving cars and trucks

Yea they can take control of vehicles now.

Up until around y2k most cars other than really high end stuff had regular throttle cables also, then they became electronic throttle motors. The Michael Hastings incident is suspicious to say the least and could be a 100% throttle scenario.

That said though, the older EFI systems cant be accessed wirelessly...so long as they dont have onstar. Perhaps they can be impacted with EMP but that would just shut the car down.

My stuff is all around y2k and one iteration before electronic throttle/drive by wire and internet access to the vehicles computers. No onstar, and no way to access it remotely. Around that era is where I like to draw the line electronics wise.

Now that said, the best prepper/survival cars are probably old school diesels, with cable shut off on the injection pump (not electric shut off) ... once you crank them over they dont need ANY electronics or even electricals or battery, the engine keeps running.

When the most expensive supercars and luxury saloons were 200-400k ish in the 90s, people with ALOT of money couldnt out do the less wealthy with vehicles.... hence the rise of the million + dollar cars, some entrepreneurial companies saw an opportunity to create higher tiers of status symbols... and the idea worked.

I cant remember exactly but In the 2000s some began to push this angle... if you had a million dollar car you could show the world you were higher up on the food chain than ferrari and lambo drivers.

And now here we are, 18 million dollar new bugattis.

The wealthy can accumulate more money than those without, and this has certainly occured to an even greater extent in the last 20 years, and probably especially so since the GFC.

This one's got a frickin' airship engine!

I wonder if there's something it spits out that makes your face all worty? Maybe it's the bugs?

Could the Toad of Toad Hall character be an unconscious recognition of this?
