Well I had high hopes for "The First" starring Sean Penn when the first episode aired on Brit TV a few weeks ago but sadly it's turned out to be a boring soap, we're 8 episodes in and they still haven't launched the Mars mission!
Maybe it'll lift off sometime in series 2 (yawn)..

Another disappointing flop was "The Dome" which sounded great on paper; aliens plonk a dome-shaped force field over a town, but sadly it quickly degenerated into a boring soap.

it might be a form of copyright infringement but I'm not certain about any of it legally.

You either visit channel one free films or Putlocker's website, and you need to keep clicking off the adds and popups, it takes about 5 to 10 minutes.

1channel.biz/
putlockers.care/

if different 'versions' appear you'll need to check which one plays for you....ah and after clear all you cookies etc, or you might get something now and again asking you to '''meet local girls'' etc...

There are others...but anyway don;t download or install anything, just keep closing the adverts and pressing play on your chosen movie, There's another site called Megashare that has less bs involved.

This is the next film I want to watch but I haven't seen it for a free stream yet

I tried watching Mission: Impossible - Fallout (2018) last night, but my kids were jumping on me like a WWE Tag Team. I might try again tomorrow after the kids have gone to bed

Ps, I usually pass out on the sofa before they do lol

Okay Frothy I've ordered The Revenant DVD on your recommendation, it only cost peanuts £5 (7 US dollars) so I might as well..:)

Speaking of recommendations, I can highly recommend Interstellar (2014) for scifi fans with a brain, starring Matthew McConaughey, I've got it on DVD-

SPOILER ALERT- unlike most other sci-fi films and shows, it factors in the time dilation effect throughout, meaning the crew in deep space are separated from their families on earth not just by immense distance, but also by time.
Reviewers and people have commented that it's had them in tears as McConaughey watches vids sent from earth in which he sees his family grow up and age (and some die) because time is passing fast for them on earth, and there's no way he can talk back with them or even let them know he's still alive.
Another memorable scene is where he and some of the crew shuttle down to a planets surface and wonder why the ocean is so shallow (pic above), then they suddenly realise it's because the immense gravity of a nearby black hole has sucked the water into a gigantic tidal wave which is now rushing towards them.
They shuttle back to their mothership having been gone just a few hours and get another shock- the crewman who stayed on board has aged 23 years because of the same black hole's effect on space-time on the orbiting ship.

Hopefully they will get to keep it for as long as possible.

I got The Revenant DVD on Frothy's recommendation and it's as good as he said, but I had to google the word "revenant" to find out what it meant, and the dictionary says "Someone who returns from the dead"
SPOILER ALERT- Poor di Caprio gets his ass mauled by a protective mummy bear (below) after he strayed too near her cubs.
His companions find him and patch him up and try to carry him on a stretcher back to the fort but the going is too rough in the mountains so they leave him in the wilderness with three men to bury him when he dies, but when Indians come sniffing around they leave him for dead and bugger off.
He eventually recovers enough to start trekking to the fort under his own steam through a cold bleak winter mountain landscape, chased by redskins..
