The counterpart of your truckers in Canada are the January 6, 2021 ("insurrection" provoked by the FBI) political prisoners in the U.S., who, as far as I know, ARE STILL IN PRISON.

Many of the truckers and supporters of various backgrounds ... are far smarter and aware than people assume them to be. No 'official' endorsement was sought out or accepted. The bogus politically attempted 'tie-in'/lying narrative with the bogus so-called 'insurrection' in the U.S. has not flown with anyone with a thinking brain in Canada.
What Canadians did see was Trudeau appallingly referring to hard working and peaceful Canadians as bigots/misogynists/racists etc for disagreeing with him. What they did see was Trudeau running away to hide. What they did see were the RCMP trampling over seniors with horses, what they did see was WEF board member, our finance minister Freeland, with a gleeful and obnoxious smile on her face as she spoke to the press about having shut down people's bank accounts without a court order and also happily threatening to close down more bank accounts, those of anyone who donated to the Freedom Convoy....thus starting a run on the banks from one side of the country to the other, as her and their actions and threats caused widespread distrust of the banks in Canada, including the distrust of many people who wanted to withdraw their money even though they were not involved or supporters of the Freedom Convoy, because they didn't like what they were seeing.
What they have seen is the the Liberal cabinet/Trudeau/NDP be officially and publicly exposed before a parliament committee for their lies and deceptions in regards to their 'reasoning' for temporarily enacting the Emergency Measures Act. As well as their obnoxious refusal to answer questions in this regard in an official capacity, as they are obligated to do.
What they have seen is that the Liberal cabinet/NDP/Trudeau were forced to drop the Emergency Measures Act before the Senate did.
By enacting it as they did though has set a dangerous precedent.
Far more Canadians are NOW aware of scum such as Klaus Schwab and the sinister objectives and 'penetration' of the WEF into this government/country. Many Canadians NOW know that the Charter of Rights and Freedom/Constitution is, so far, not worth the papers it is written on. Court cases are still going through, including one launched against the government by the last living member of one of the creators and signers of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

They NOW know that much of the judiciary, included certain members of the Supreme Court of Canada, are biased and corrupt. Many more Canadians are much more fully aware that the mass media in this country needs to be defunded and a complete stop put to taxpayers being forced to pay for their own propaganda thru a corrupt government.
They are much more aware of how the 'electoral system' in this country needs to be absolutely changed.
They have seen Tamara Liche, one of the organizers of the Convoy, and Pat King, (charged with basically mischief) to name two, be treated by the Liberal/NDP government/RCMP/Judiciary much more harshly than even Canadians charged with murder. The hypocrisy, the double standards, the making of political prisoners of those peacefully opposed to the present agenda in comparison to the left wing radicals and politically correct radicals who have gotten away with the burning down of churches (which Trudeau said was 'understandable'), shutting down rail lines, arson and machete attacks against blue collar workers. They see those responsible for real crimes and violence go without charge or even seemingly, investigation that anyone is aware of.
The astounding level of double standards, corruption and hypocrisy of this government and relevant players has been laid bare for all to see.
The calls for the dismantling of the RCMP are getting louder. The bastards in this game are on the defensive, doubling down yes, but on the defensive. So if there are Canadians who are angrier than shit (but not criminal no, and followers of the letter of the law) ....AND.... they also see how this game is being played. It is so obvious, so.....
Even many Liberals/NDP in this country were not falling for the 'the freedom convoy was an attempted insurrection' bullshit, what with the bouncy castles, hot tubs, parties, music, good food and general positive and respectful vibes of the convoy and supporters in downtown Ottawa. They cleaned up garbage, the crime rate went down, the area became safer to walk in than it was before the convoy got there.
There were complaints about the honking of horns from locals which ended up in court and the truckers abided by the court decision in regards to honking. The Supreme Court of Ontario Justice in that case ALSO stated in her decision, that it was a LEGAL PROTEST and they were ALLOWED TO BE THERE.
Trudeau has called it an illegal protest ever since, contrary to the Supreme Court Justice who made it clear in her official decision that it was a LEGAL PROTEST and allowed to continue.
