During the fertile phase of their ovulatory cycle women are attracted to steroidal masculine faces but but only in a short-term, not a long-term, mating context. Women want to exchange genetic information with steroidal men so their feraal offspring inherit his genes but later on women seek long term relationships with less aggressive males who were phased out of the genetic code because they didn't make her wet enough to want to preserve his DNA.
