G'day Ugizz.

No mate. Though I have looked into it a long time ago. The nerves react poorly to the cold and the tendons and muscles tighten up, so I avoid it. That's specific to the physical condition that I have and not anything against cold showers / plunges.

Yeah i suppose it is not for everyone. For me this gives tremendous boost in mood and makes me feel more alive in general. My sleep has also improved massively. And I just love it, i guess I'm chasing that adrenaline release lol

Here is some recent video i found abut cold exposure effects on mind and body

G'day Ugizz.

Actually, it is. It is the physical condition that I have that is the issue. Although I still finish a shower off every now and then with a quick running of only cold water, which is around 10 seconds at most. The physicality still has issues with extended periods of the cold.

I do the opposite sometimes at the end of a shower, get the water really hot to the point where it would burn if you hold any part of yourself under it too long. Seems to get the blood flowing also and feels good to me, i dont know why.

G'day Novum.

I was wondering if "gear" was your GF's name. :joint:

Then I clicked on the 'spoiler' ... :fraid:

G'day Novum.

I used to start hot and keep making it hotter and hotter until it was that hot there was no way I could have gotten under it from the start. The heat has always been a way to loosed up the muscles for me, which relieved some of the pain from the contractions of muscles and tendons.

Now, there is no fan in the bathroom where I am at, so no extended super hot showers due to steam issues.
