Truthspoon , either you genuinely did not know any of these things which you seemingly do not reply to or you did know and for some inexplicable reason decided to carry water for Orthodox Jews ?

Jesus Christ is a historical figure.... Quoting him in this context is historically relevant...

The New Testament is a historical source, It was written by people who had direct experience of the Jewish powers of the time and were in direct conflict with it. Jesus and most of the apostles were murdered by the Jewish authorities..

Probably the best source if you want to know what the Jewish authorities were like at that time and how historical events, led to the current State of Israel.

The past and present are of course, intrinsically connected. To understand the present, you have to go back to the past.
